Spain

Widely known for Flamenco music and dance, bull-fights, fantastic beaches and lots of sunshine, Spain has to offer much more than that. It is - and has been for thousands of years - one of the cultural centres of Europe. It has beautiful cities and towns, offering old monuments as well as futuristic architecture. Its various regions are all different to each other, geographically, climatically and even in personality. It is a fascinating country to know and to learn more about.

Tenerife

The lushness of the gardens and the agreeable atmosphere are very special features of this island, which has lively places to stroll around. Although geographically African, Tenerife is distinctly Spanish with whitewashed villages, swaying palm trees and a laid back demeanor that can switch into party mode at the merest mention of the word ‘fiesta’. There must be very few places on Earth where such natural drama unfolds in such a small area.
